Mr. Nilesh Vedak 55 years old male is a Rickshaw driver by Profession and staying with his wife and a daughter. He was diagnosed with Squamous Cell Carcinoma and advised to undergo surgery of Left Full Thickness BM Commando WLE + Bil. MND + Reconstruction with FOCFF.

The patient is the only earning member in the family but due to his illness he could not drive Rickshaw anymore and was temporary not working due to his condition. The Family somehow were managing their daily expenses but the surgery estimate was not affordable for them. They were under financial pressure to arrange the money for the surgery.

With the help of the Social Work Department of the Hospital who referred their case to a trust called Manthan Swasth Charitable Trust. After getting all the documents send by the Patient the trust verified it with the help of Social Workers. They helped the patient with some amount so that he can undergo his surgery.

The help from the trust came as a huge relief for the family who were earlier worried. As the Patient was the only earning member in the family and currently was not working due to his illness they did not had any source of income. Hence some financial aid from Manthan Swasth Charitable trust was indeed very helpful for the family.
