Mr. Anand Savardekar 54 years old male was diagnosed with Ca. Rectum and was advised to undergo Radiation therapy

Neo adjuvant Chemotherapy and Surgery for the same. The Patient’s wife is the only earning member in the family and works as Kitchen Helper. Their daughter is married and son completed his education. The cost of the treatment was too expensive for the family as they come from Lower Income Background and since his wife is only working, they had no other source of income.

As they could not afford such expensive treatment and this would create financial burden on the wife as she had to manage the entire expense of the family in a single salary. They met the Social Workers who after going through their documents and understanding their requirement referred them to Manthan Swasth Charitable trust. The Trust indeed helped the patient to some extent financially.

The small amount of aid received from the trust was an great support to the family. The family is thankful to the trust for helping them to continue the treatment.
