Mr. Rajesh Jadhav, a 43-year-old male, was diagnosed with cancer of the left lateral border of the tongue, for which he underwent surgery, radiation, and chemotherapy treatment at Holy Spirit Hospital. Later, he was again diagnosed with left chest wall squamous carcinoma and had to undergo another surgery at the same hospital.
Mr. Jadhav is the only earning member of his family, but due to his illness, he is currently unable to work. His wife takes up domestic work to support the family, and together they have two children who are still studying. The situation became more difficult as his brother had passed away a few years ago due to a heart attack.
His wife approached the Social Work Department seeking financial assistance. Considering the family’s financial condition, the case was referred to Manthan Swasth Charitable Trust. After reviewing his situation and documents, the Trust decided to extend financial support towards his treatment.
The Trust’s timely intervention proved to be a ray of hope for the family, who otherwise had no means to pay the outstanding surgery costs. This support not only reduced their financial burden but also gave the family immense relief in such trying times. The Jadhav family will always remain grateful to Manthan Swasth Charitable Trust for being their biggest support during this difficult journey.
